Vehicle history by Canadian province
Each province has its own registry authority (MTO, SAAQ, ICBC, AMVIC) and title-brand vocabulary. Deep coverage of Ontario and Quebec is live; additional provinces will follow as we produce equally specific content for each.
Ontario VIN check
Ontario law requires sellers to provide a Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) on private-party sale — but the UVIP only covers Ontario registrations. Cars imported through Sarnia, Windsor or Fort Erie carry US-side title history that the UVIP cannot show. Our $4.99 report is the US-side complement to the UVIP.
Quebec VIN check
Quebec's SAAQ registre maintains rigorous declared-write-off (véhicule gravement accidenté) rules — but only for Quebec-side incidents. US-imported vehicles through Stanstead, Lacolle and Highwater carry US salvage history that the SAAQ does not consistently re-record. Our $4.99 report is the US-side complement.
